Our 365 Monitoring & Maintenance program keeps your Defibrillator compliant and rescue-ready, year-round.
Owning a defibrillator comes with the responsibility of keeping it maintained and rescue-ready.
Our 365 Defibrillator Monitoring & Maintenance Program takes care of this for you.
Using rescue-ready monitoring technology, we monitor your AED daily and provide in-person maintenance when required, helping ensure your device remains functional, while supporting your organisation in meeting its compliance obligations.
Your AEDs. Monitored. Maintained. Managed by us. 365 days a year.

Why is defibrillator monitoring & maintenance important?

Picture this: you’ve installed defibrillators and ticked that box.
Now imagine a staff member or visitor suffers a cardiac arrest — and the AED on the wall isn’t rescue-ready.
Perhaps the battery has failed, the pads have expired, or the device has developed an internal fault. These are real risks, and the consequences can be significant — both for the person who needs the AED and for the organisation responsible for maintaining it.
Defibrillators are life-saving medical devices and, like any critical equipment, they need to be properly maintained and monitored. Checking an AED periodically only tells you its status on the day it was inspected. An issue could arise the very next day and go unnoticed for months.
That’s why we developed our 365 Defibrillator Monitoring & Maintenance Program.
By combining daily remote monitoring with in-person periodic maintenance, we provide a complete defibrillator monitoring & maintenance solution that meets all AED ownership compliance obligations.
Don’t wait for an emergency to find out there’s a problem. Know your AED is being monitored, 365 days a year.

What's invovled?
Your defibrillator is monitored by us daily using rescue-ready remote monitoring technology. Our system checks the AED’s readiness status and alerts our team if a potential issue is detected, allowing us to act immediately to get your device back on track.
We also track electrode pad and battery expiry dates, so you don’t need to keep on top of replacement schedules. Where hands-on maintenance is required, our team attends in-person to complete the necessary work, including scheduled pad and battery replacements and other maintenance requirements identified through the program.
All monitoring and maintenance activity is recorded, providing your organisation with an ongoing record of AED management and helping support your compliance obligations.

What industries do you service?
Our AED monitoring and maintenance program is available to organisations across Australia and New Zealand, from single defibrillators to large, multi-site AED fleets.
This includes strata, hotels and hospitality, building and construction, holiday parks and resorts, commercial property and facilities, student accommodation, aged care and retirement living, schools and education, gyms and fitness centres, sporting clubs and recreation facilities, and warehouses.
What happens if an issue is detected with my defibrillator?
If our monitoring system detects a change in your AED’s rescue-ready status, Pulse Defibs is alerted so we can investigate and respond to the issue.
This ongoing oversight is one of the key advantages of 365 defibrillator monitoring, as potential issues can be identified when they arise rather than waiting until an inspection or finding out when the device is needed for an emergency.
Our defibrillator has never been maintained and we’re unsure when the pads and batteries are due. Can you help?
Yes. It’s not uncommon for us to come across defibrillators that haven’t been maintained for some time.
As part of setting up our 365 Defibrillator Monitoring & Maintenance Program, we can assess the AED’s current condition, check its rescue-ready status and identify the expiry dates of the electrode pads and battery. From there, we take care of the ongoing management of your defibrillator
Do all AEDs purchased through Pulse Defibs come with a monitoring and maintenance option?
Yes. Any defibrillator purchased through Pulse Defibs can be enrolled in our 365 Defibrillator Monitoring & Maintenance Program, but the program is also available for existing AEDs that were purchased or installed through other providers.
Our program is compatible with most major AED brands, allowing us to take over the ongoing monitoring and management of new or existing defibrillators.
